Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley (Leeds) is the natural home of the new Spinning Room hi fi shop given its commitment to the arts, culture & business. Located in the small village of Farsley just 4 miles from Leeds & Bradford the Mill is the beating heart of this thriving area. Visitors flock to the mill to enjoy a host of activities including live gigs, workshops, exhibitions, food & of course retail therapy. This is therefore the perfect place to open a hi-fi shop Leeds

The Spinning Room is located in the Festoon Rooms, at the heart of the Mill sharing a corridor with both the Mills permanent Art gallery & the superb Record Plant record shop (Yes we are neighbours with one of the best new and used record shops in Yorkshire!). With over 35 Sunny Bank Mills resident artists all the communal areas of the mill are dressed with their amazing art.

All we suggest when planning a trip to visit us is that you set enough time aside to check out the other parts of this amazing mill complex. Events happen across the year with lots of permanent attractions open all year round. Activities include live music/comedy in the Mills venue the Old Woollen, enjoy a cheeky half in Amity Brewery the resident craft ale house, or a G&T in the cool Test Gin Bar, or enjoy some amazing food at the many eateries including Grumpys wood fired Pizeria the Mill Kitchen, and if you've seriously overloaded on culture and art why not visit the amazing Metz cheesemongers for something a bit more cheesy.

Our mission

At the Spinning Room Hifi's brand new showroom in Farsley, Leeds we want to change how folk shop for hi-fi equipment. Our aim is to grow the hobby of enjoying music at home by introducing those that visit us to new and better ways to get the best from their music. We specialise in both vinyl and digital playback so you can rest assured you are going to get the best advice and guidance.

Our destination showroom offers a mix of products that cater for new comers wanting to kick start their journey into better sound right

the way to the seasoned audiophile. Our priority is that you enjoy your music more at home.

We carefully select our products using three considerations,:-

1) They must excel at their price point,

2) They must offer something innovative and unique,

3) They offer an exceptional listening experinece.

The prices of the equipment we stock my vary greatly but these three factors apply across everything we stock.

Our family run business prides itself on being inclusive, knowledgeable and friendly but don't take our word for it instead call in and

find out for yourself .. we are not your usual hifi shop!
