Technics SU-G700M2 Integrated Amplifier
The Technics SU-G700M2 is a high-performance integrated amplifier that brings much of the technology from the flagship Reference Class into a more accessible design. Combining advanced digital amplification with refined analogue engineering, it delivers exceptional clarity, control, and musical detail.
At its core is the JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization), which ensures accurate signal transmission by eliminating jitter across the entire audible range. This allows high-resolution audio to be reproduced with full dynamic range and precision.
LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration) further enhances performance by analysing the connected speakers and optimising both amplitude and phase response. This results in improved imaging, spatial accuracy, and a more natural presentation.
The Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply, derived from the flagship Technics SU-R1000 amplifier, operates at a higher switching frequency to deliver stable, low-noise power with enhanced energy and responsiveness. High-grade components such as GaN FETs and SiC SBDs ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
Internally, the amplifier uses a three-section construction to isolate sensitive signal paths from high-current circuits, reducing interference and improving overall sound quality. The rigid chassis design further minimises vibration for cleaner signal reproduction.
A low-noise phono stage now supports MC cartridges, with adjustable gain settings to match a wide range of cartridges. For headphone listening, a dedicated Class AA headphone amplifier ensures low distortion and consistent performance across different headphone loads.
