Solid-Sounds LCG (Low Centre of Gravity) Speaker Stands
The Solid-Sounds LCG speaker stands are designed to provide exceptional stability through a very low centre of gravity while maintaining minimal contact with the speaker itself. The concept was developed in response to traditional stand designs that often feel top-heavy or unstable.
Constructed as a one-piece design, the LCG stands avoid the weaknesses associated with multi-part assemblies, ensuring greater rigidity and long-term stability. The base is formed from a solid 10mm steel plate, extending the footprint of the speaker to create a wide and secure foundation.
A unique feature of the design is the ability to add vinyl records to the base, further lowering the centre of gravity while adding a distinctive visual element. A hidden rear stopper ensures the records remain neatly aligned.
Outriggers extend from each corner of the base and are fitted with M8 threads, supplied with adjustable spikes as standard. Optional Stack Audio AUVA isolators are also available for enhanced performance.
The 20mm steel box frame is sized to suit most speakers, and the open structure prevents the retention of airborne bass energy, resulting in a clean and transparent sound.
Finished as standard in a durable satin black powder coating, alternative colour options are available at additional cost. The standard height is 600mm, with custom heights available on request.
