JICO Shure VN35 SAS Replacement Stylus (Boron Cantilever)
The JICO VN35 SAS replacement stylus is designed for Shure V15 Type III cartridges, delivering a significant upgrade in detail, tracking accuracy, and overall sound performance. Using JICO’s advanced Super Analog Stylus (SAS) profile, it extracts maximum information from the record groove for a more refined and revealing listening experience.
The SAS tip is crafted from single-crystal natural diamond and precision laser-cut to closely resemble the shape of a cutting lathe stylus. This allows it to reach deeper into the groove, retrieving subtle musical information that standard stylus profiles often miss. The result is greater clarity, improved resolution, and a wider frequency response.
This version features a boron cantilever, chosen for its exceptional stiffness and low mass. With a speed of sound propagation significantly higher than aluminium, boron enables more precise tracking of groove modulations, improving accuracy, transient response, and overall detail retrieval.
There is no technical difference between the VN35 SAS and VN35HE SAS versions. The naming simply reflects original Shure model compatibility for ease of identification.
