The newly improved Elba is a great all-round speaker which combines power with grace for an exciting audiophile listening experience. The engineering challenge behind the new Elba was to put in Rosso’s entry level model the same enthusiasm, design expertise and innovation that they put in their higher-end speakers so as to give the listener the pleasure of a real high-end acoustic experience.

Design and performance:
Made in Italy with superior materials and craftsmanship, Elba Series 2 uses twin 6.5” woofers with coated fibreglass cones for optimal stiffness and damping. A redesigned motor system minimises power compression, improving control and consistency at higher listening levels.
The two mid-woofers operate within a vented loading volume, with ports positioned directly behind each driver to reduce time delay. The aluminium damped ports have been retuned to optimise airflow and reduce turbulence, resulting in improved bass extension and control compared to the previous version.
The 26mm silk dome tweeter, powered by a double magnet system, delivers extended high frequency response up to around 40kHz with wide dispersion.

The cabinet uses multi-layer construction with mechanically different materials to balance rigidity and damping, reducing unwanted resonance and supporting a clean, controlled sound.

The newly designed crossover integrates the drivers for coherent output across both vertical and horizontal planes, while maintaining a stable impedance. This makes the Elba highly compatible with a wide range of amplifiers and contributes to a balanced, dynamic and detailed presentation.
