The Puritan Audio PSM156 builds upon the success of the acclaimed PSM136, retaining its precision symmetrically balanced circuitry while significantly enhancing performance. With an increased number of independently tuned filter elements, the PSM156 delivers greater delicacy, detail, and dynamic impact, elevating your system to a new level of performance.

At its core, the PSM156 features 52 cumulative stages of purification, effectively removing both common mode and differential mode interference. This results in improved clarity, more defined imaging, and a wider, more immersive soundstage. Instruments gain space and separation, allowing them to interact naturally rather than becoming congested.

The unit includes six fully independent 15 amp output stages, each individually filtered to prevent cross contamination between connected components. Equal resistance routing ensures consistent power delivery, enabling your system to perform at its full dynamic potential.

The PSM156 also rebalances the AC sine wave, removing DC components that can cause transformer hum. This allows connected equipment to operate more efficiently and quietly, improving overall performance and reliability.

An integrated earth management system with star earthing and a cleansed ground further reduces noise, lowering the noise floor and enhancing clarity and dynamics. High-quality internal wiring using silver-plated OFC copper with PTFE insulation ensures optimal signal transfer.
