The Ortofon MC Windfeld Ti is a world-class moving coil cartridge, introduced as an evolution of the original MC Windfeld and created as a tribute to Ortofon’s former chief engineer, Per Windfeld. Designed to push the boundaries of analogue sound reproduction, it delivers a lifelike, dynamic, and highly detailed listening experience.
At the core of the MC Windfeld Ti is a titanium internal structure produced using Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technology. This advanced process fuses fine titanium particles layer by layer to create an انتہائی rigid yet lightweight body. The result is improved structural integrity, reduced resonance, and enhanced dynamic performance.
Ortofon’s expertise in vibration control, magnetism, and mechanical design is evident throughout. The cartridge features a three-point contact system for optimal mechanical integration with the tonearm, ensuring stability and efficient energy transfer. A low output impedance of 7 ohms and moderate compliance allow compatibility with a wide range of high-end turntables and phono systems.
The MC Windfeld Ti is equipped with a Nude Ortofon Replicant 100 stylus mounted on a boron cantilever, offering precise tracking and exceptional detail retrieval. It also incorporates a Wide Range Damping (WRD) system and Field Stabilizing Element (FSE), improving linearity and control across the frequency range. The coil system uses Ortofon’s Aucurum 6NX gold-plated copper wire for high signal purity and minimal transmission loss.
