At the heart of the MC Diamond is a Diamond cantilever paired with the renowned Replicant 100 diamond stylus. The result is an extraordinarily transparent and lifelike presentation, with outstanding clarity across both micro and macro dynamics.

The cartridge body is constructed using Ortofon’s Selective Laser Melting (SLM) Titanium process, where fine titanium particles are fused layer by layer into a single, rigid structure. This approach eliminates unnecessary material while providing extremely high internal damping, resulting in near-total freedom from unwanted resonance.

Further refinement comes from the re-engineered Wide Range Damping (WRD) system, incorporating an advanced rubber suspension developed with Multi Wall Carbon Nanotube (MWCNT) technology. This ensures optimal control of movement, improved tracking stability, and minimal distortion. Additional damping is provided by a Thermo-Plastic Elastomer (TPE) base, further enhancing overall performance.
