The Ortofon LH-2000 is a high-quality headshell designed for HiFi applications, offering a clean, minimalist design and reliable performance. Constructed from solid aluminium, it provides a durable and stable platform for accurate cartridge mounting and playback.

Suitable for a wide range of cartridges, the LH-2000 is a versatile option for consistent performance and straightforward setup. Its simple design makes it easy to integrate into a variety of turntable systems.

The headshell comes supplied with lead wires for quick and convenient connection. Ortofon cartridges use a standard colour coding system for terminals: red and green for the right channel (hot and ground), and white and blue for the left channel (hot and ground). The green terminal is used for grounding the cartridge housing or motor system where applicable.

For best results, it is recommended to connect the lead wires to both the cartridge and headshell before mounting, ensuring correct orientation of the leads. Ortofon cartridge terminal pins have a diameter of 1.2 mm, while Ortofon headshell pins measure 1.0 mm.
