Manufactured in Japan, the AS-309R reflects a tradition of precision engineering and craftsmanship. With over 130 redesigned components, each tonearm is assembled, adjusted, and tested by skilled technicians to ensure the highest standards. A high-quality bearing system ensures smooth and precise tracking across the record surface.

The 12” arm length offers improved tracking performance and reduced tracking error, while adjustable height allows precise matching with a wide range of cartridges. Two counterweights (light and heavy) are included, providing flexibility to accommodate different cartridge weights.

The universal headshell makes cartridge changes straightforward and supports both standard cartridges and the Ortofon SPU range. A high-quality tonearm cable with a standard 5-pin DIN connection is included, along with the mounting base for easy installation.

Designed for maximum compatibility, the AS-309R supports both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges. Whether using a modern cartridge or classic SPU design, the tonearm provides a stable and accurate platform for high-quality playback.
