The Shure VN45HE SAS replacement stylus features the advanced Super Analog Stylus (SAS) profile, designed to extract the finest detail from vinyl records. The stylus tip is crafted from carefully selected single-crystal natural diamond and laser-cut to closely replicate the shape of a cutting lathe stylus used in record production.

This highly precise design allows the stylus to reach deeper into the groove, retrieving information that is often missed by conventional stylus profiles. Its wide contact area enables a broader bandwidth of information to be reproduced with greater accuracy and fidelity.

This version features a boron cantilever, chosen for its exceptional mechanical properties. Boron has low density, high rigidity, and a sound propagation speed significantly higher than aluminium. These characteristics allow for more precise tracking of the groove, resulting in improved clarity, detail, and overall sonic accuracy.
