AC Dual Motor Turntable Speed Controller
This AC dual motor turntable speed controller is designed to deliver highly accurate and stable platter rotation, improving timing, pitch accuracy, and overall musical performance. Many turntables do not run precisely at 33.33 rpm, and this controller corrects those variations, resulting in a tighter sense of rhythm and a more stable soundstage.
The unit features an optical platter speed sensor and OLED display, providing real-time feedback and precise monitoring. Using microprocessor control and advanced sine wave frequency synthesis, it ensures accurate and consistent motor drive.
Designed, assembled, and tested in the UK, the controller is fully CE and UKCA approved and supports both 110V and 220V operation as standard. It is compatible with a wide range of AC synchronous motors, including dual 110V motors or single 3 or 4-phase motors.
The system includes automatic speed calibration and PID-controlled feedback, allowing it to compensate for wear in belts, pulleys, bearings, motors, and stylus drag. This ensures long-term accuracy and consistent performance.
