The Bel Canto DAC2.8 is a high-performance DAC and preamplifier built around Bel Canto’s HDR Core technology, the result of over 20 years of refinement in digital-to-analogue conversion. It delivers a natural, analogue-like presentation with high dynamic range and low distortion.
The HDR Core integrates ultra-low-noise master clocks, asynchronous interfaces, and efficient low-noise power supplies alongside an advanced PCM1792 DAC. This combination ensures accurate signal conversion with minimal jitter and noise.
With a dynamic range of up to 124 dB and distortion as low as 0.0015%, the DAC2.8 provides detailed, clean, and controlled playback across a wide range of sources.

The DAC2.8 combines multiple digital inputs with analogue functionality, allowing it to act as a central hub for both digital and analogue sources. Its simple interface displays input or volume, with control via a front panel dial or remote.
The dual-function 24-bit digital volume control allows both volume adjustment and input selection, enabling direct connection to a power amplifier if required.
