The Bel Canto e1X DAC / Control Preamplifier brings advanced technology from the flagship Black series into a versatile and high-performance control centre. Designed to manage all sources while preserving signal integrity, it combines DAC, preamplifier, streaming, and phono capabilities in a single unit.
Built in a constrained layer damped aluminium chassis, the e1X maintains a clean and refined aesthetic while reducing vibration and interference. Its design focuses on delivering accurate, detailed sound with flexible system integration.
At its core is Bel Canto’s HDR-II DAC architecture and AMiP (Asynchronous Multi-Input Processor) platform, ensuring precise digital processing and high-quality analogue output across all inputs.

System Overview:
The e1X DAC / Control Preamp integrates digital and analogue sources into a single platform, handling signal processing, volume control, and source selection. It is designed to simplify system architecture while maintaining high-end performance.
Streaming is supported via Ethernet and USB, allowing access to services such as Tidal (MQA), Qobuz, Roon, and local music libraries. The unit is controlled via front panel, remote, or the Bel Canto SEEK iOS app.
